All about Azimut brand

The Italian shipyard, Azimut was founded by Paolo Vitelli in 1969. This young entrepreneur, once ran a boat hire company, then decided to get into designing and creating yachts and bought a factory.

At first, it was modest boats but very quickly the brand grew to offer a range of 25 to 45 foot cabin cruisers. In 1985, Azimut acquired Benetti, a historic brand specialised in mega-yachts. And in 2000, Gobbi was bought out by the brand and renamed Atlantis. With this purchase, Azimut entered the sport cruisers market.

The brands architects and designers have the right formula: even if owners don't spend all that much time on board they are becoming more and more demanding when it comes to comfort and decor. Each model must be able to offer a level of comfort like a home while still enhancing the sea's beauty from every corner of the boat.

Band of Boats offers a wide range of Azimut models among our boats for sale.
