In 2000, at the turn of the millennium, Gobbi became part of the Azimut Group. This enabled the latter, which also owns Benetti Yachts, to extend its activities to smaller units. The Gobbi range was renamed Atlantis. This explains why you can find similar boats with different brand names on the second-hand market. This was particularly the case for the Atlantis 425 that you may see under either of these names. The Atlantis 425 is a sport boat that was available in an SC version, i.e. with a soft cover, or a HT version, i.e. a hard top. Each version has its own advantages, which depend very much on the sailing area and the use of the boat.
