All about Bavaria Sport 33 model
Built in Germany by Bavaria Yachts, the Bavaria 33 Sport is one of the shipyard's most successful models. It has since been replaced in the catalogue by upgraded versions, yet none of them have overshadowed the legacy of this sleek, dynamic open hull boat fitted out for coastal cruising.
The cockpit is topped with a fairly protective portico with lines that complement those of the streamlined windscreen. The front deck has a sunbathing area with cut-outs that ventilate the interior. An L-shaped bench seat is positioned around a good-sized table behind the pilot seats. Another bench seat/sunbathing area backs onto the L-shaped seating and faces the attractive, wide aft platform, decked in teak.
The fittings feature extensive use of solid wood, as is often the case aboard Bavaria boats dating from the early 2000s. Lighter wood with a high-quality finish was the manufacturer's preferred choice, which means many used models have remained in very good condition.

The V-shaped planing hull makes for safe sailing. While this type of boat is more suited to day trips, the Bavaria 33 Sport certainly doesn't shy away from short cruises. On-board facilities and fittings are suitable for slightly longer stays at sea and are comfortable, cosy even; bathed in golden tones created by the natural wood interior. A more luxurious finish than that of today's brighter materials, but considerably less welcoming.
