All about Bavaria Sport 37 model
37', 11 m is the queen-sized length in the weekender and other coastal cruisers market. The Bavaria Sport 37, launched by the German shipyard who are one of the world's top three pleasure boat builders and especially known for their Cruise yachts, is no half measure. With 700 horsepower (2x350 HP mercruiser Z-Drive gasoline), an elegant line accentuated by a curved windshield, a blue hull trim and a discreet roll bar, all at a very reasonable price, the Bavaria Sport 37 made waves when it was launched in 2006.
This is all the more understandable as the design and manufacturing qualities inherent to the Made in Germany style are not lacking in this beautiful boat.
It's comfortable to live aboard with two metres of headroom in the saloon, and has a very large bathing platform, 2 m long berths in both cabins, U-shaped cockpit benches and a large foredeck... Bascially has everything you need to entertain 6 people during the day or for a comfortable weekend with 4 adults. Everything, including hot water.
In terms of performance, the Bavaria Sport 37 is capable of reaching speeds of 35 knots, sails without losing stability and cuts through the waves even in rough seas.
Two types of superstructures were offered by Bavaria on this model. An open version, and a hard-top version. Inside, the plan includes a double cabin, (almost triple with its two beds of 200x164 and 200x124), a well-equipped L-shaped galley, a living room for 6 adults, a bathroom with shower and the famous mid-cabin and its generous 200 x 78 twin berths that can be joined together into a 200 x 156 single bed, not bad!
Among the long list of options, the Axius Joystick Propulsion Control System makes port manoeuvring easy. You don't want to scratch the gelcoat on this beauty!
