When André Bénéteau designed the first 6.50m Antarès in 1970, he unlikely imagined that the Bénéteau brand would go on to create stunning boats almost double the size, complete with - shock horror - outboard motors!
The mighty Beneteau Antarès 11 OB is a fast, safe and seaworthy large-size family cruiser offering spacious, innovative living areas.

In terms of seaworthiness, the Beneteau Antarès 11 OB retains a semi-planing hull (deep V-shape at the bow coupled with a relatively flat bottom) despite its considerable weight (7 to 8 tonnes when laden), which ensures optimal levels of speed and comfort. The automatic Zipwake flaps help maintain stability at every point of sail.
Speed is certainly not lacking here: two 300hp Suzuki V6 engines deliver speeds of over 40 knots.
In terms of safety, the Antarès 11 OB features a very high bow and deep starboard walkway (steering station door-side), a side access gate - very handy when moored, and an optional bow thruster.
At 11 metres long, this family cruiser lends itself to life on board, providing five berths split across two cabins with sea views, a bright and spacious shower room and WC, an interior L-shaped saloon facing a long, fully-equipped kitchen, a forward sun deck complete with awning, and a U-shaped deck saloon that converts into a huge sun deck.
