All about Gran Turismo 46 model
The Beneteau Gran Turismo is a relatively new range of motor yacht produced by Vendée-based shipyard, Bénéteau.
Launched in 2017, the Beneteau Gran Turismo 46 is a liveable inboard speedboat designed for fast cruising. It is also referred to as a Sport or Express Cruiser.
Featuring powerful Volvo inboard twin engines on IPS rotating pods and up to 800 horsepower, these boats are capable of reaching top speeds of up to 35 knots!
Coupled with a joystick, Volvo Penta's IPS system enables novice drivers to berth their boats in ports and carry out sideways "crab-like" manoeuvres if needed - all with the touch of a joystick.
The Beneteau Gran Turismo 46 Hard Top has an electric sunroof and the entire aft section of the cabin has a large folding door which can be opened up. Side windows can also be electrically opened in the same way as in a car, so you can relax and drive with your hair blowing in the wind, or alternatively benefit from full protection from the elements.
This set up combines the advantages of an Open and a Hard Top.
A large reclining forward sunbathing area and an aft saloon equipped with two sun loungers and a daybed all form part of the cockpit.
The interior houses two or three cabins - depending on whether you opt for an interior saloon - 2 bathrooms and a kitchen.
