All about Boesch brand
Boesch is a Swiss motorboat manufacturer. The first boats produced by the company date back to the 1920s. The shipyard focused on the manufacture of small, sleek, high-performance motorboats from the 1950 onwards. Over the years, classic lines enhanced by the use of mahogany have been optimised with epoxy coatings.
Highly valued by many influential individuals, Boesch began producing official boats for world waterskiing championships in the 1950s.
Boesch constantly strives for innovation and performance. The manufacturer has created several patents, including:
- BLT: a mahogany marine plywood providing 25% more strength than conventional fibres;
- Boesch Horizon Gliding: a hull design that planes without lifting up;
- Bulge Rudder: a curved rudder offering perfect responsiveness at the helm at all speeds.
Launched in 1988, the Type 850 runabout is equipped with a V8 engine reaching 40 knots.
The Acapulco range is one of the company's great successes highly prized among waterski lovers.
The 4th generation of the Boesch family continues to strive for excellence, producing handcrafted wooden runabouts ranging from 6.20m to 9.70m long.
Their latest creation: the 970 St Tropez, an emblematic model in the world of pleasure yachting according to the prestigious Swiss company.
Boesch motorboats are elegantly designed in a retro style and offer unrivalled technical features for memorable outings on the water.
