All about Colombo brand
"Cantiere nautico Colombo" is one of Italy's oldest shipyards. It was founded in 1956 in Capriolo, close to Lake Iseo, near Bergamo, Italy. Over the decades, Colombo has successfully managed to develop and hold onto the values and expertise that form the foundations of its reputation. More impressive still, the network of dealers painstakingly built up over more than 60 years enabled the company to offer impeccable service to every owner of a Colombo boat. Colombo: a history of tradition and harmony!
In 2007, the Colombo shipyard was acquired by the Sarnico Group. The synergy between the two closely-located shipyards made it possible to rationalise and modernise construction processes all while protecting the identity, quality, artisanal tradition and historical know-how that shaped the reputation of Colombo boats.
Lake Iseo is a paradise-like setting in which to discover Colombo boats, boasting 25km of crystal clear waters nestled between the pre-Alps and the picture-postcard island of Monte Isola. The company produced 10 models, the majority of them open boats. The outlines of these powerful boats are impossibly sleek and streamlined: there are no unnecessary accessories or ostentatious luxuries here: just efficient and wonderfully sleek boats. Super Indios 25 may be an entry-level boat, but the colours and finishes on board exude a harmony only the Italians know how to achieve!
Both enjoyable and attractive, Bellagio 36 is suitable for small families keen to enjoy lake and sea cruising.
