All about Mediterranee range
The Italian shipyard Cranchi has been building motoryachts since 1870 and specialises in large, powerful, liveaboard boats.
Cranchi Mediterranees are elegant three-cabin motoryachts, ranging in size from 42' to 50' followed by the next entry in the catalogue, Cranchi Zaffiros, that range from 28' to 40'.
12 to 15 m in length is probably the ideal size for a cruising boat, judge for yourself:
With that kind of length, you still get affordable overnight rates at the port, without having to moor up at the main wharf or any other specialised infrastructure.
With Volvo's dual-powered IPS pods and the option of a bow thruster, you can control, dock and set sail with just the two of you.
The cross-section you get with this length means you can fit in a third cabin and a second head, as well as a welcoming interior saloon which is such a comfort in the off-season.
Last but not least, on a boat ranging between 12 and 15 m in length, with 4 or 6 passengers, there is no shortage of exterior space!
Whether it's an open or hardtop version, the wide bow peaks give you large sunbathing areas and the cockpit and saloon are simply majestic.
The Cranchi Mediterranee 50 HT (Hard top) is a wonderful example.
It has slender lines with an endless bow, a streamlined silhouette, luxurious craftsmanship and exotic materials. On a Cranchi Mediterranee, you are closer to the world of yachting than pleasure boating.
It has a superb engine with two Volvos on IPS totalling 1430 HP. Cranchi Mediterranee is Italian elegance that goes full speed!
Mediterranee: find your future boats
The range of boats centralizes models with similar characteristics, both in their design and in their use. A boat builder can have a range dedicated to racing-cruising yachts and another specializing in small outboard motor boats. The ranges of boats may need to evolve to better meet the expectations of boaters. Thus, certain ranges are disappearing to make way for new generations of boats.
Choosing your boat model from the range
Buying a new or used boat requires taking stock of your expectations as a future boat owner Here are the main questions to ask:
- What is my maximum budget for buying a boat?
- Do I have a berth available?
- What is my boater profile?
