All about Crownline brand

The American shipyard Crownline was founded in 1991 in Illinois. The shores of Lake Michigan offered the ideal playground for fast day boats. It had a sheltered body of water, a very dense population, and a growing standard of living. Everything was therefore already in place when it came to this small garage-based workshop's release of the Crownline 182 BR, a sterndrive bow rider powered by a big 18 foot gasoline V8 engine. Instant jackpot. 6 months later, they moved to suitable rented premises. And less than 4 years after the launch of this golden goose, Crownline was established and had produced 10,000 boats already. A real start-up story!

The economic crisis of 2008 hit the shipyard while it was in full swing, with a range that went from 9 to 30 models in a few years. Now back on track, Crownline has over 50,000 square meters of production space and will sell its 50,000th ship in 2020...

And this is a yard that has a network of dealers in 150 countries! The range they offer is luxurious. It features about 40 dayboats with lengths ranging between 5 and 10 m. Bow-riders, Opens, Walkarounds, Surfers, Cruisers, outboards, inboards – there's something for everyone. Crownline bow-riders are always a big hit. This includes the Crownline 265 SS (sterndrive 300 HP) and the smaller Crownline 19 SS (sterndrive 220 HP) that are sometimes seen in France. Crownline boats are known for having a plethora of equipment considering the price level they sell for.
