All about Targa 40 model

Take a 40', 12m speedboat, add a tender garage, 1,500 NM of range, British racing car acceleration and comfort, and incredible interior volume, and you get an undeniable success, the Fairline Targa 40.
The hull is powerful, enabling this 8 ton boat to go out even when the weather is bad. Impressively powered by two Volvo D6 IPS engines, for a total of 700 HP, with two thrusters to assist in harbour manoeuvres, the Fairline Targa 40 reaches speeds of 41 knots with that quiet, unruffled feeling of power common to all diesel-powered boats.
The rear houses a large sundeck that reduces the width of the swim platform a bit. But it's in a good cause! Jacks are used to raise this sunbathing area which has a 2.70 m long tender is stowed perfectly under it.
In the cockpit there's the outside galley, the outside saloon and the helm which can accommodate 3 or 4 people abreast.
But the second argument for choosing this boat speaks for itself: the cabin ceiling height is so high that the interior surface area seems much larger than it actually is. Inside there's a saloon with an optional full leather interior on the port side, and a galley on the starboard side.
The owner's cabin is at the front and has an island bed.
The headroom here is 1.95 m, and there's 3 opening portholes as well as magnificent joinery everywhere.
The second cabin is located aft and is accessed by two steps; it also has a wash basin and three opening portholes.
