All about Italcraft brand
Italian shipyard Italcraft has been in business for over half a century. Ever since the company was founded in 1955, the philosophy of the Sonnino Sorisio brothers was to provide their customers with all-round highly technical boats: from the hydrodynamics of the hull to the construction process and propulsion.
Italcraft stands out thanks to the many successful innovations it has contributed to the motorboat industry.
In the 1970s, the Drago was the first motor cruiser equipped with surface propellers, enabling it to exceed 50 knots with a diesel engine. This high level of technical expertise resulted in the production of speedboats for sea rescue teams and port authorities. The shipyard's production was paused in the 1990s. Bought out by Cantieri del Golfo, Italcraft has since experienced new momentum, focusing its efforts on the luxury motor cruiser market.
Italcraft's C58, C45 and F38 are exceptional motor yachts. They offer great performance in terms of speed while also maintaining comfort and stability on the water. The Sarima 38 Open, of which 700 were sold over 30 years, was relaunched by the shipyard packed with new technology and design. The Drago range, which was successfully launched in the 1970s, continues to grow with the addition of the Drago 70 followed by the Drago 105, combining speed with luxury finishes. Remaining faithful to its commitment to technical excellence and perfection, the Italcraft shipyard continues to produce exceptional yachts today.
