The 2010 Jeanneau Cap Camarat 635 is the star of the entire Cap Camarat line-up.
A mere 6.23m long and 2.48m wide with a light displacement of 1050kg, pretty much the perfect equation for an open hull: transportable, spacious, versatile, fast.
Could this be the perfect size for this type of boat?
The design of its hull enables tight, relatively flat turns - probably thanks to the steps that form it - without ever causing the outboard motor to stall. Powered by either a 150 or 200 horsepower engine, speeds merrily exceed 40 knots. But are these types of engines really designed to be given full throttle? Certainly not; the Jeanneau Cap Camarat 635 represents the archetypal Open hull boat for all the family; perfect for cruising, fishing or lazing around with a large forward sun deck.
Available in three versions:
The CC (Center Console) has a small cabin. It has a forward deck saloon that converts into a sun deck, and moving around both sides of the console is nice and easy.
The front of the most elegant version, the DC (Day Cruiser), is accessed by passing through the middle of the steering station. No gangways here, and the entire deck width is utilised. A timeless look.
In this configuration, the console on the WA (Walk Around) is turned to one side and the front platform is accessed from the side. The forward deck is higher than on a CC, and a very snug cabin below deck takes precedence.
