All about Leader 36 model
Jeanneau, the Vendée-based shipyard, doesn't mess around when it comes to motorboats. This is a tradition that goes back to the yard's creation in the 1960s.
The Jeanneau Leaders are express-cruisers or fast cruising boats. The Jeanneau Leader 36, launched in 2015 is a mid range boat from the Leader line.
This elegant boat has a deck plan similar to a walkaround, with gangways encircling the deck, and is available in open or hart top versions. The cockpit itself, in addition to a very well protected steering position, has a day bed style seat with its back to the rest and a U-shaped saloon that can be transformed into a large aft sunbathing area.
The cockpit floor and platform are made of teak and share the same elegance as the Jeanneau Leader 36, enhanced by the considerable hull windows.
Inside, there is a forward saloon which cleverly converts into an owner's suite, with a sea view that can be seen from everywhere, and a 3 berth cabin in the central section. The galley and bathroom with shower have hot water on a cruise.
The boat comes with some serious dual engines, the options being 2x300 HP gasoline, 2x220 or 2 x 260 HP diesel, all on swivel bases controlled by a joystick that can be connected to the bow thruster... This control system revolutionises port manoeuvres by enabling you to come up with simple moves that are easy to perform. With its powerful, wide hull, the Jeanneau Leader 36 can also count on all 6 of its tonnes to cut its way through the chop without batting an eyelid.
