All about Sun Odyssey 410 model
The new version of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 410 represents a significant advance over its predecessor, the 409. The new interior layout and its very wide stern make it a brand new boat.
With its inverted bow, chines, and a transom that opens very wide, it's a very different version of the Sun Odyssey 409.
The era of "small-ended" yachts is long gone, which, although they worked better upwind, were far from being as comfortable in the live-aboard department as today's very wide sterns...
Available in three versions, PTE (small draft), GTE (large draft) and lifting keel, this large boat (12.35 m x 3.99 m) suits any use you make of it.
Featuring a sloop rig with a strong overlapping genoa and a semi-battened mainsail, the delphiniere enables you to mount a Code Zero on furling gear at downwind speeds. And with a fullback like that, it really appreciates this!
In the cockpit, the "German" mainsail sheet layout enables you to return the two sheets to the rear, one on each side, whatever side you are sailing on.
Inside it definitely feels like the 21st century however.
To hell with the dark, varnished look!
Light enters through numerous portholes in the hull and the clear, uncluttered layout of the saloon is innovative with a daybed in the middle of the boat and central furniture full of storage space.
On the cabin side, the master suite has an island bed and the two aft cabins are of a respectable size.
One or two bathrooms complete the picture.
The engine has gained 5 HP, and that's very welcome ever since the 409 and so you now get a 45 HP sail drive.
