Excellent roomy comfortable three cabin version plus saloon and quarter berths for 20! Fast easily manoeuvrable despite width and no bow thruster. Great galley, chart table and two heads with wet showers. Still looks fantastic after 32 yearns.

All about Kirie brand

Kirie: building habitable sailboats

It was in 1912 that the Kirié family constructed their very first boats in their small garage. At first they were small wooden pleasure boats , then gradually production focused on power boats. At the end of the 60s the Kirie shipyard positioned itself in the sport fishing boat sector , also known as the 'fifty'. During this period Kirié was developing and growing and settled at the Château d'Olonne, very close to Les Sables d'Olonne.

The 80s marked a turning point in the history of this brand and its range of habitable and fast cruising sailboats: Feeling. In 1986, the Feeling 13.50 won the Route du Rhum in the production boat category and the Feeling 10.90 was voted "Boat of the Year" in 1987.

Kirie offers robust and efficient boats for coastal or semi-offshore navigation . The quality of finish is also remarkable, especially its superb joinery. This sailboat builder is one of the few to offer integral dinghies. The ballast of an integral dinghy is placed inside the hull reducing draft and allowing access to shallow anchorages, making beaching a breeze.

Band of Boats offers a wide choice of Kirié habitable sailboats, make your selection and plan your next sea trip.

How to go about purchasing your new boat

Before acquiring your new boat, take the time to carefully examine what type of amateur sailor you are by considering some simple but useful criteria:

  • The total budget for the purchase and maintenance of the boat
  • The type of sailing and type of waters: coastal, open seas, mixed?
  • Preferred uses: Fishing? Coastal sailing? River cruising? Watersports?
