All about Lagoon brand

The brand Lagoon first appeared in 1984 via Jeanneau Techniques Avancées (JTA), a workshop specialized in developing prototypes for competition. Following a specific request from one of their clients, JTA built a cruising catamaran, and the first model, the Lagoon 55, was released in 1987. In 1995, Jeanneau and Lagoon joined Beneteau group, breathing new life into the brand.

Today, Lagoon is firmly oriented towards cruising and adventuring. The entire series is designed by the firm VPLP (Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prévost), who have an incomparable track record in multihull competition. Their models over 50 feet are built by CNB.

Lagoon is the world leader in cruising catamarans, with over 4,000 models built. The Lagoon 42 combines performance and comfort, the Lagoon 440 provides an unobstructed view while sailing and a comfortable interior. For long cruise, the Lagoon 450 is in first place.

Lagoon also offers power catamarans.Band of Boats has a large selection of Lagoon models among our boats for sale. Take control of a multihull boat!

Exceptionally spacious and comfortable, easy to manoeuvre and comfortably sleeps 12. I do not recommend the 4 cabin, 4 bathroom version, but rather the 4 cabin, 2 bathroom version, which is much more spacious and usable. She performs well under sail and very well under power, where she easily reaches speeds of 8 knots and allows for fast crossings and travel.
