All about Najadvarvet Ab brand
Najadvarvet is a Swedish shipyard dating from 1971. The manufacturer is located on the island of Orust, a place where shipbuilding dates back to the 12th century.
Najadvarvet AB specialises in the manufacture of sailing boats that offer the perfect balance of performance, comfort and safety at sea. Their design is inspired by ocean-going yachts. They can be manoeuvred by two people, even in difficult conditions. Design and craftsmanship are also key points in the production process.
The manufacturer now offers models ranging from 40 foot to 60 foot, sold under the Najad brand.
It was aboard a Najad 380 that British sailor Jeanne Socrates completed her solo, non-stop, unassisted tour of the world in 2018, at the age of 77!
The Aphrodite range is one of the company's most renowned ranges. Available models range from 38 foot to 51 foot, and the range features sailboats that incorporate the aesthetics of old boats and the performance of modern boats. This range exudes elegance, from teak decks to mahogany superstructures and finishes.
The Najad 440 is one of the most popular models.
Since its creation, this internationally renowned shipyard has produced over 2,000 boats currently sailing around the world.
Najadvarvet AB produces cruising yachts as sleek as they are efficient, tailored to suit all sailing activities.
