All about Pacific Craft brand
The French company Pacific Craft has set itself the mission of offering a range of well-equipped and very solidly built dayboats built to European standards. Designed based on a deep V-shaped hull, with a high freeboard and a very cutwater-styled bow, all Pacific Craft share a common base. With this equipment, its ability to cut through waves, liveability, comfort and performance should be at their height.
The first two Pacific Craft models were launched in 2001: the Pacific Craft 630 and 550 open. In terms of engines, an exclusive partnership with Yamaha means there is continuity with the standard of their engine. While these boats are designed by a French team, the manufacturing is entirely subcontracted to Poland. The Polish yards have both large inland waterways and a good sea front. Poland's long-standing maritime tradition, where the Gdansk shipyards used to be the epicentre, coupled with substantial European development funds, has strengthened the country's position in yacht building. Pacific Crafts are solidly built with a backbone composed of oversized varangues, on which the deck also rests. The whole design provides inceased rigidity. This process is able to withstand the shocks inherent in the powerful engine and slightly rough sea conditions.
