All about Portofino Marine brand
When Massimo Brinzo set up his shipyard in 1944, he wanted to combine safety, elegance and quality of workmanship. Inspired by traditional fishing boats, he designed comfortable cruisers with classic lines and the principles he laid down then still prevail at the yard. The construction workshops are located in Salvirola, near Cremona, and produce 18 to 25 boats per year by hand.
The reason Portofino Marine is very keen to highlight this artisanal construction method is because it offers a degree of customisation that has become unusual among more mass produced boats. The company prides itself on being able to satisfy the needs of the most demanding customers, creating a real "sea gem" for them! ». Above and beyond this winning formula, Portofino Marine boats are beautifully designed, superbly finished and their construction exudes quality.
The catalogue features 15 models based on 6 hulls that range from 7.50 to 17 metres, and that are available in different versions, from the very elegant Portofino 11 Spider to fishing versions that come with or without a fly-bridge.
Portofino Marine, handmade boats and refurbs!
Portofino Marine has also set up a 5500 m² refurbishment centre, located in the port of Lavagna, south-east of Genoa. Equipped with carpenters, welders, composite material specialists and painters, the centre can accommodate units of up to 45 metres. These refits are particularly high quality as the company has encouraged electricians, mechanics and specialists in boat fittings to set up around the site.
