All about Rodman brand
Rodman shipyards were founded in Spain in 1974, under the leadership of D. Manuel Rodriguez, a young engineer passionate about new composites used in shipbuilding. The shipyard continues to be run by its founder, producing composite boat for pleasure, defence, industry and passenger transport markets. 15,000 boats have left Rodman's shipyards to date. The group has 4 sites across Spain and Portugal, providing over 60,000m2 of workshop space in which the company's various ranges are built. Rodman regularly supplies 45m-long high-speed interceptors to Spanish and Portuguese customs authorities and also builds a comprehensive range of high-speed boats.
It has two types of models on the pleasure boating market: Fly speedboats, and exquisite Fisher Sport and Fisher Cruiser inboard boats. Fisher Sport models are named after a 3 or 4 digit number. Models 800, 900, 810 are high-speed boats, such as the Rodman 800 Fly launched in the early 1990s. Coming in at 7.85m long, it has twin 130hp diesel engines and high-quality interior fittings. The hulls on these boats are a feast for the eyes! It's impossible to see the Rodman 1250 with its sleek, powerful hull and not fall in love with it.
In terms of speedboats, the highly-popular 40-foot Rodman 41 features 3 cabins, plenty of space and good range. No wonder so many can be seen on the Iberian Peninsula! The current range includes "Muse" speedboats, Fisher Sport Evolution boats, and the new, versatile "Spirit" range.
