Tecnomar was founded in Viareggio, Tuscany, like most major Italian shipyards dedicated to luxury yachts. In 1987, the shipyard set out to build yachts over 20 meters long. A few years later, the workshops were moved to the industrial area of Massa, in Carrara, about twenty kilometres further north.
Tecnomar is part of The Italian Sea Group, which includes Admiral Yachts, a shipyard that builds mega yachts in sizes up to 100 metres long. NCA Refit, another of the group's brands, provides maintenance and renovation services for large yachts in Carrara. Covering 10 hectares, it is the largest dry dock in the Mediterranean - the only one capable of accommodating yachts up to 200 metres long - and also includes a floating dock with a capacity of 3,300 tonnes! It goes without saying that The Italian Sea Group is not restricted in its production capacities, nor in its ability to deliver high quality service.
Tecnomar: where luxury yachts meet offshore.
For its part, Tecnomar blurs the lines between offshore and luxury yachts. The in-house design studio has mastered the pairing of classic and futuristic lines. You only have to look at the latest generation M/Y Victoria EVO 55 to be convinced, or even better, watch the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 plane, which reaches 60 knots thanks to two V12 biturbo engines, delivering power of 4000hp!
