All about Zar brand

Zar Formenti shipyard has been cultivating know-how in the design and manufacture of semi-rigid motorboats since 1979. The success of this Italian manufacturer is based on constant investment in research and development, resulting in a high-performance shipyard perfectly able to meet the expectations of its clients.

The entire production process is carried out in Italy and exclusively uses Orca® coverings for inflatable parts. With their semi-rigid V-shaped hull, Zar motorboats guarantee good seakeeping and exemplary robustness.

These boats stand out thanks to their angular design and largely polyester-coated deck. They are split over four ranges:

- Zar Tender: motorboats ranging from 3m to 4.5m long. Polyester hull and deck hide inflatable floats. They are accessible, easy to handle and ideal for sporty family outings;

- Mako: semi-rigid boats ranging from 5.8m to 6.8m long;

- Zar Mini: inflatable or semi-rigid tenders ranging from 1.8m to 5m long;

- Zar: semi-rigid boats ranging from 4.5m to 9.7m long with ingenious fittings for comfortable sporty outings and cruises.

The Zar 75 is the shipyard's flagship model: this semi-rigid motorboat is equipped with a small cabin hidden in the cockpit. The starboard-side steering station leaves plenty of space for enjoying beautiful sea trips.
