The Swan 601 is a high-performance sailing yacht, very light for its size and designed to sail at high speed. It embodies Nautor Swan's vision of a first-class IRC design Racer/Cruiser. It uses the most advanced construction techniques and materials, without compromising the classic lines and beautifully crafted interiors, which are associated with every Swan built. "Les Amis" has been carefully designed in terms of deck layout, exterior finish and interior details to provide an amazing-looking boat that races competitively under IRC as well as providing a comfortable home during cruising (and regattas) offshore. The winches of the primary sheet and mainsail sheet are electrically powered. The extensive use of carbon fiber in its structure makes this model particularly rigid for its weight and capable of exceptional performance. The result is a truly competitive yacht without the restrictions of stripped rowers who make few concessions to cruising comfort.
