J 122 E

The J/122E is the perfect blend of all-around J/Boats performance with live-aboard cruising luxury. The "E" is for elegance and evolution in performance cruising. With its sailing-friendly deck layout and cockpit, the J/122E is as easy to manage offshore as she is entertaining dinner guests on the mooring. Quick and responsive, powerful yet stable and pure magic to sail, the J/122E is what sailing is all about.

Jangle is a great example and comes with many upgrades including electronics and winches.

She has been campaigned both crewed and double handed in recent seasons and is still ready for the family cruise.

Construction

Hull & Deck
Infusion molded sandwich construction using uni-and multi-directional fiberglass, low density balsa core, vinylester resin and the “SCRIMP” patented resin infusion process

White gelcoat hull finish with integrated gelcoat double boot stripe in grey

Teak deck

Hull-to-deck joint is bonded with a methacrylate structural adhesive

Transverse / longitudinal grids and mast step are infused as part of the hull molding

All intermediate bulkheads are glassed to hull and deck for stiffness

Low VCG keel with encapsulated cast iron fin with lead bulb, bolted and bonded to shallow sump, with seamed joint to allow for easy removal

Deck Upgrades

• Upgraded traveller car sheaves/cam cleat

• The upgraded winches are all Harken Performa with the coach roof ones being the 46 quattros (bigger diameter on base for kite trimming). We also strengthened the deck around the primaries

• Pole out is 2:1

• Outhaul comes to coachroof (standard is to come out of mast)

• Vang comes to coachroof (standard is to come out of mast)
