All about Flyer 650 Open version
Successor of the final Ombrine boats which propelled Bénéteau to the top of the game in the world of yachting, the Bénéteau Flyer 650 Open had huge boots to fill when it was launched in 2016.
An open day boat with a forward deck saloon, the Bénéteau Flyer 650 Open has two cockpits that can be converted into two sunbathing areas perfect for relaxation.
A small sink is built into the cockpit (optional) and a deck shower is on hand to wash the sea salt out of your hair.
Equipped with a ski mast, the 200hp engine has no problem getting skiers out of the water!
Its rounded finish pairs perfectly with the hull's optional blue colour scheme, and the console is equipped with an elegant curved windscreen with a white lacquered frame, the same colour of the hull's topsides.
The deep forward cockpit converts into a sun deck (optional), while the aft cockpit includes rod holders and a ski mast (optional). A telescopic swim ladder provides access to the sea from the rear.
The cabin is located below the forward deck (1.36m headroom below deck), and while it may not get much light, it offers two V-shaped berths, with the possibility of adding a chemical toilet, and handy storage space for the many accessories that enhance time spent aboard these oh-so versatile open hulls!
In terms of performance, it is equipped with a large 200 horsepower Suzuki engine and can reach 40 knots. You may have a hard time protecting yourself completely from sea spray as the windscreen is a little low, but where's the fun in a ride without sea spray?!
