I can't sell my boat, what should I do?

Have you posted an ad to sell your new or used boat but still haven't found a buyer?

Start by checking that your ad is attractive and effective. - Go to the "Manage my ads" section. You'll see a summary of your ad's performance indicators. If there's a green dot, your ad is optimised. If the dot is orange, you can still improve it. Click on "See more statistics" to edit or complete the criteria that will improve your ad.

Here are some criteria that can help you attract more buyers to your boat.

• Add additional photos
• Write a description or translate it into several languages (English, Spanish, Italian and German are the languages available on Band of Boats).
• Try to lower the selling price or check that your boat is sold at a price consistent with the rest of the market thanks to our boat quotation service. Ask for a quotation
• Fill in the inventory completely and check the details you have already filled in
• Subscribe to a visibility pack to feature your ad in the search results for our site and boost its visibility. Sell your boat faster

Last but not least, remember to complete your sailing profile. It's always more reassuring to know a little more about the seller of a boat (for example: your sailing schedule, your favourite nautical activities, etc.)
