How to report or block a user from the messaging system?

You can report a user who you think is suspicious to the Band of Boats team. The profiles created are subject to verification and the boat ads are moderated daily by our team. However, it is possible that malicious users may escape our vigilance. To report a user, open the contact information pane by clicking on the "i" icon from the conversation. Choose the reason for your report by selecting an option from the drop-down list. Here are some examples of reasons for reporting a user:

• I think this account has been hacked
• I think this person is impersonating someone else
• I think this is not a real person

Once the report is made, our team will receive a notification and will take over the verification of the profile and block the profile if necessary.
