All about Explorer range
Established in the 1950s, Bombard inflatable boats are named after the doctor and sailor Alain Bombard, famous for having diced with death by crossing the Atlantic in an inflatable boat.
Bombard produces sturdy, functional, reliable and easy-to-handle inflatable and semi-rigid boats that are particularly popular for fishing, cruising, waterskiing, diving and group outings.
The Explorer range features multi-purpose semi-rigid boats designed for leisure activities at sea. These boats are very popular among fishing, spearfishing and diving enthusiasts. Safe and comfortable, these boats are accessible to sailors of all abilities.
The range features a number of models varying from 4.20m to 6.90m in length. The semi-rigid deck is fitted out around a central console. Roofs, hardtops and additional tanks can be fitted to this boat as optional extras.
The deck layout on the Bombard Explorer 600 lends itself to group sailing. This boat accommodates 13 passengers, with enough comfortable seating for everyone. It has been designed for active pleasure boaters looking for a versatile, easy to maintain semi-rigid boat. At 5.98m long, it is intended to carry an outboard engine ranging from 100hp to 150hp to take full advantage of its capabilities.
Bombard Explorers are semi-rigid boats perfect for solo, family and group outings requiring little organisation and promising plenty of fun.
Explorer: find your future boats
The range of boats centralizes models with similar characteristics, both in their design and in their use. A boat builder can have a range dedicated to racing-cruising yachts and another specializing in small outboard motor boats. The ranges of boats may need to evolve to better meet the expectations of boaters. Thus, certain ranges are disappearing to make way for new generations of boats.
Choosing your boat model from the range
Buying a new or used boat requires taking stock of your expectations as a future boat owner Here are the main questions to ask:
- What is my maximum budget for buying a boat?
- Do I have a berth available?
- What is my boater profile?
