All about Cap Camarat 12 5 Wa version
Jeanneau's 2021 Cap Camarat 12.5 WA is quite simply the largest Cap Camarat ever produced: 12.5m (41ft) long and 3.58m (11.75ft) wide. With a powerful motor, halfway between a day boat and a cabin cruiser, it competes with US sport-fishing boats.
Spot it heading out to sea and you'll be struck by its superyacht-style bathing deck. Its swim ladder and two large aft decks give facing the sea new meaning! Behind, there's a spacious cockpit, which accommodates ten people, while another, forward, for eight people has a sunbathing area with three sun loungers. Nice! Access is via a very secure port-side gangway with stainless-steel handrails.
The focus is on sociability as well as seafaring, with a fully equipped outside kitchen, including a ceramic hob, plancha, ice-maker and livewell (available as an option) as well as an inside galley that is more private but equally well-equipped – a reminder that the boat can also be enjoyed moored overnight during cooler weather. A gyrostabiliser, reversible air conditioning (providing heating) and a silent generator (available as an option) complete the picture. The generator is capable of powering a water heater to provide hot water during cruises (outboarders do not produce hot water from their engines).
Inside, in addition to the galley, there are two cabins, one that would be at home on a much larger boat and has an island bed and television (available as an option), the other with bunk beds; a beautiful bathroom with sea view; a sunny forward saloon (with two extra beds) and fine materials.
Two armchairs allow you to pilot the craft with your fingertips with its precision propulsion, its zip-wake flaps and especially its two (40 knots with 2x425 or 450hp) or three (45 knots with 3x300hp) engines. Truly breathtaking!
