The Cap Camarat 6.5 WA series III is probably the most versatile version of the Cap Camarat range. The V-shaped hull, which is relatively deep with a single step and two strakes, is one of the best on the market.

With its large sun deck, its central console protected by its wide windscreen, and its slightly more protruding moulding at the bow than on previous versions, the 6.5 WA has very appealing lines. The central console, which is offset to starboard to allow for a wide sidedeck walkway on the port side, houses a small cabin window on the front that's cleverly covered by the windscreen, enabling it to be kept open when on the move. The U-shaped cockpit bench seat allows eight people to be seated around the onboard table. The teak decking adds an undeniably elegant touch to the boat. The wide bathing platforms (available as an option) are perfect when it comes to taking a dip. At the bow end, the sunbathing area enables two people to lounge very comfortably, and the sunlounger cushions are tied to the boat – definitely a plus on a speedy day cruiser hitting 40 knots!

It's designed for engine specifications up to 200hp, in partnership with Yamaha. At 18 knots, the front end begins to rise out of the water, and it takes just 10 seconds to reach 30! The cabin is indisputably spacious for this size, with sufficient room for two adults to spend the night. Chemical toilets (available as an option) can be stored here. It's possible to detach and remove the part of the mattress that doubles as a kind of doormat immediately inside the cabin entrance, to prevent it being damaged by people constantly stepping on it. The inclusion of a cockpit shower on deck has been made possible by the presence of a freshwater tank and a water pump.
