All about Luhrs brand
Henry Luhrs first launched his own chandlery and boat repair shop in the 1830s in the heart of New York's commercial port. This passion was passed down from father to son, resulting in the Henry Luhrs Sea Skiff Company almost a century, a shipyard based in Morgan, New Jersey. Henry, and later his sons John and Warren, quickly became the "Henry Fords" of New Jersey, successfully mass-producing high-performance motorboats that remain highly prized today.
Luhrs boats are very popular among fishing enthusiasts and have excellent seakeeping qualities.
At its peak, the company produced over 1,200 boats per year. Motorboats range from 23 foot to 45 foot and are available in Open and Convertible versions.
The Open 32, Convertible 36, Convertible 41, Convertible 35 and Open 38 models remain very popular thanks to their good seaworthiness and high-quality fittings. The Sedan range experienced great success in the 1960s and remains very popular with pleasure boaters today. These motor day cruisers with fly range from 24 foot to 32 foot and are perfectly equipped for comfortable family outings.
Produced until 2011, the Luhrs 41 is a Convertible featuring the shipbuilder's trademark cabin design, popular with fishing enthusiasts and their families. These medium-draught boats promise unforgettable adventures at sea, from fishing and watersports to cruises with friends.
