What rules should my boat ad comply with?

Each boat ad that is posted on Band of Boats is checked and validated by a moderation team. If you want to get your boat listing validated, you must comply with a couple of rules.

• Only boat ads are accepted on the Band of Boats listings site.
• You must include the model of your boat and its manufacturer when creating your ad. If your boat model does not yet exist on the site, please use the model creation request module. Try to be as precise as possible so that our team can quickly and easily add your boat model as an option.
• Add quality photos of your boat. The photos must show your boat and be of sufficient quality. Please add at least one exterior view of your boat for us to be able to accept your ad. We do not accept photos of user manuals, or ad previews in PDF format.
• Do not create a duplicate ad. If you already have an ad, please just edit that one.
• Enter a selling price that is consistent with other boats of this type. The price of the boat is one of the criteria checked by our moderation team and may be grounds for us not to post your ad. If you wish to sell your boat at a lower price than what is usually listed for this kind of boat in the nautical market, please go into detail about the reasons for this in the ad description.
