2003 Marlin 16 Rib for sale.
This Marlin 16 Rib has a 2005 Yamaha 80HP 4 stroke engine that has been used for 250 hours ,plus a Yamaha 4hp auxiliary outboard .Making this the perfect fun dayboat to cruise the coast and inland waterways. This Rib has been well maintained, has an all over cover and is currently dry stack in France at Port Inland which is located in the bay of Cannes and it is a short distance to the Iles de Lerins. It is being offered for sale with a Indespension roller coast braked trailer with an EU Certificate of Conformity. It has had two owners from new. The Rib is currently in the dry stack in France.

History and Construction

This Marlin 16 Rib with its white GRP Hull and grey Hypalon tubes was built in 2003. It has been owned by the current owner since 2005 who took it to France in 2012 to be near his property. It has been stored in a dry stack, but is being offered with a Indespension roller coaster braked trailer.  The boat could be kept in France as it was there on 31st December 2020 or the owner can arrange for the Rib to be returned to the UK under Returns Goods Relief so that it can be sold as UK VAT paid.  The vessel has been well maintained by the local yard and owner.

Mechanical Systems:

This boat has a 2005 Yamaha 80hp 4 stroke outboard which has been used for 250 hours. There is also 2013 a 4hp Yamaha auxiliary outboard which has hardly been used. .The outboard is controlled by a twist hand control. It has a fixed 3 blade propeller. Fuel is stored in  a 100L plastic fuel tank. This Marlin 16 will  cruise at 28 knots and has a maximum speed of 32knts . Both engines were last professionally serviced in July 2023 by the local marina. Full service history available.  

Electrical Systems:

This rib is fitted with 1 x 12v battery that is charged by engine alternator.
