One of the finest and most sought after models in the Sun Odyssey range, the 42DS offers exceptional space and comfort. Her unique design offers a full width aft cabin with king size berth comparable to a 50ft yacht, whilst her proven hull provides safe and comfortable sailing performance.

"Wave Dancer" has benefited from a high level of maintenance and care. Her specification includes a new axiom plotter at the helm. Bow thruster, heating, autopilot and radar and she appears to be in turn key condition for the 2024 Season.

Owner's Comments

"I have found 'Wave Dancer' to be an excellent yacht, easy and forgiving to sail but deceptively quick as well. We usually sail her shorthanded and she is set up to enable this. Under power the fitting of the Brunton's Autoprop has given her an extra 0.5 - 1 knot under sail and a top speed at 3000 rpm of around 8 knots. Fuel economy has improved as well.

Accommodation wise she is very spacious and comfortable, whether for lounging in the cockpit or below. She has been lived aboard regularly during extended sailing seasons in UK waters and proven a comfortable and spacious liveaboard cruiser.

I am selling her with considerable regret and only because I now plan to move abroad. I will miss her”
