2008 Hanse 320 for sale in Kent 

This Hanse 320 was built in 2008 and is a very well-built family cruiser. Hanse Yachts are renowned for their build quality, and this boat is no different. She has been well maintained by the current owner and is ideal for coastal use or a cross channel trip. This Hanse 320 offers excellent accommodation with one double forward cabin, one rear double cabin and two single berths in the saloon, completed with comfortable finishing touches. This yacht is based in Gillingham Marina where a berth is available.

Accommodation :

The Hanse 320 offers a total of six berths in two cabins, with lovely American Cherry joinery and cream fabric upholstery. The owner’s cabin is forward with double berth with under berth storage and hanging storage on the starboard side and a dressing table to the port.   

The main saloon has a central folding table with bench seating either side creating two single berths. The L shaped Galley is located on the starboard side in front of the guest cabin and has lots of storage cupboards, twin sink with pressurised hot and cold water heated by the engine and 240v immersion heater, gimbled two-burner gas hob and oven. The galley also has an integrated 12v coolbox.

This boat also has a navigation area on the port side consisting of electric control switches, navigation table and VHF Radio. It also has storage for navigation books and charts.

The guest cabin is located at the aft of the boat on starboard side under cockpit with a double bed and additional storage.

The Heads are located on the port side aft of the navigation station.  The heads consist of a white sink mounted in a vanity unit with both hot and cold pressurised water with shower attachment, marine toilet with 30 litre holding tank, Mirror, and door to a large storage area.

The companionway leads up to a large aft cockpit for a boat of its size with beach seating surrounding the wheel steering collum with Garmin Chart plotter, Compass, Depth gauge, Wind direction and speed log, and engine controls at the rear of the vessel.

History & Construction:

Built in 2008 by Hanse in Germany using GRP hull and superstructure and internal mouldings. This Hanse 320 has a Blue GRP hull and White decks with non-slip surfaces. It has a teak deck in the aft cockpit. Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit. Walk through transom gate to bathing platform and swim ladder with a Self-draining cockpit. The yacht was last out of the water in February 2024 when she was antifouled and anodes checked.

Spars & Sails

This Hanse 320 is a Bermudan sloop with 9/10 fractional rig and tapered deck stepped aluminium mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging,  halyards, adjustable backstay and kicker, The vessel has a self-tacking furling headsail with a slab reefing mainsail. Stackpack with lazyjacks.  The standing rigging was replaced in 2021 and the running rigging is original from 2008.

Winches:

Sails:

  • 1 x Mainsail - North Sails, fully battened, with 2 reefs, from 2008 in good condition.
  • 1 x Jib - North Sails, self-tacking from 2008 in good condition.
  • 1 x Headsail - Code Zero from 2011 in good condition.
  • 1 x Asymmetric Spinnaker – from 2008 in good condition. 

Mechanical Systems

This Hanse 320 has a single 21HP saildrive Yanmar 3YM20 diesel engine powering a two bladed folding propeller. The engine was last serviced in 2023 and service history is available. The saildrive seal was removed, cleaned and re-adhered in February 2024. The saildrive diaphragm was last changed in June 2020. The engine is freshwater cooled via a calorifier with a 110-litre capacity fuel tank and cockpit Morse controls. This yacht will cruise at approximately 6 knots and has an approximately maximum speed of 7 knots. The engine hours are unknow due to a faulty display.  

 

Electrical Systems:

2 x 12-volt batteries (1 x engine + 1 x domestic battery) charging from the alternator. The yacht also has a 240v shore power system with ring main and 240v battery charger.
