For sale, the 2003 Farr 50 Pilothouse, "Sea Change",overall winner ARC 2019, she is the perfect

yacht for easy short handed coastal and blue water cruising with hydraulic furling, electric winches

and generous cockpit.The raised pilothouse has a light-filled saloon with excellent 360° visibility

keeping the crew warm and dry during cold weather conditions. She is well equipped with an interior

helm station, sloop and cutter sail rig, bow thruster, new engine from 2019 genset, watermaker,

custom motor lift, heating and A/C, and washing machine. She has been meticulously maintained,

and includes new equipment such as: Yanmar 110 HP diesel motor (2019), new Lithium service

batteries (2020) Highfield CL310 dingy and Suzuki DF 20 outboard (2018), interior upholstry, cockpit

cushions and curtains (2018), custom marine mattresses in both the aft and forward cabins (2017),

furling mainsail and genoa (2016), bimini (2015), 100m s/s chain (2016) and Raymarine electronics

(2014-2015).

Sea Change was lying near our office on the yard. We know the boat perfectly & have all

informations, invoices, pics etc. She's fully equipped, fast sailing boat. She's the perfect yacht for

easy shorthanded coastal and blue water cruising with hydraulic furling, electric winches. The raised

pilothouse has a light-filled saloon with excellent visibility keeping the crew warm and dry during cold

weather conditions. SEA CHANGE has two elegant staterooms both with center-island queen berths

and ensuite heads with dedicated showers, vacuflush toilets and Corian surfaces. A pilot´s

stateroom with an additional pullout bunk provides sleeping for a total of six. The galley is roomy,

modern and efficient. She is outfitted for worldwide cruising with Mastervolt genset, bow thruster, air

conditioning, water maker, diesel heating system, washing machine and 110V/220V electrical

system. SHE CHANGE is one of the last and perhaps the highest specification Farr 50 PH ever built.

She has been lightly sailed, except for the ARC 2019 she has never crossed an ocean, never

grounded or raced. The original owners cruised during the summers from Sweden south to the Med

and eastward to Turkey where the second owner purchased SEA CHANGE in October 2014. Typical

use by the first owners was up to six weeks in May and June and another six weeks in September

and October, the second owners have used it between three and five months per year. The boat has

been store on land in major boatyards for the bulk of each year. Since 2015 SEA CHANGE has

leisurely sailed from Turkey to Malta. Maintenance has been performed religiously to a very high

standard and is well documented. Full original boat manual and detailed drawings including electrical

schematics including electrical system diagrams. She's in pristine shape for his 17 Years old.

" I bought SEA CHANGE at Port Napoléon for participating in the ARC 2019 and leisure sailing in the

Caribbean. The original plan was to continue into the Pacific, but now the plans have changed and

participating in the Ocean Globe Race will require a different boat. I really love the boat and have

tried to keep her up to the high standards as the previous owners. How good the electrical system is

with the upgrade to Litihium batteries can hardly be described - electricity onboard and enough juice

is just not an issue anymore! The boat is also really fast, very well balanced, she is extremely solid

and handles great in all kind of weather. Participating in the ARC 2019 we had no ambition of

winning, and I have to give most of the credit for being the Overall winner ARC 2019 to a fantastic

boat!"
