FOLKBOAT

Folkboat built in 1963 at the shipyard of the Törnqvist brothers on the island of Saltö, municipality of Karlskrona, in the south-east of Sweden.

I am the 4th owner of this very beautiful boat in Cuban mahogany on oak, freeboard hull, Tonkinois varnished (10 layers).

Boat in very good condition, which rides well upwind.

I acquired this boat in the summer of 2016 and have varnished the boat every year since (3 coats and 10 coats on the bow).

Last varnishing and last antifouling, July 2023, deck painting & cockpit varnishing August 2022

The boat is currently in the port of Lynetten in Copenhagen (in the water) and is under the Danish flag, the place does not follow with the boat.

Tohatsu 4hp outboard engine (2015), starts and runs very well, last service 2022 + an external fuel tank with priming pump

I installed an autopilot (Simrad TP 22), and a lazy jack system in 2020 to be able to navigate singlehanded

furling system with a crank around the boom to reef (very practical)

2 life jackets

2 sets of jibs and 2 mainsail

small gas can stove & dishes

For sale because I bought a bigger boat that requires my full attention

Delivery is not included in the price but it should be able to be towed with a trailer quite easily.
