Contessa 26, Built 1972. Any seasoned sailor worth his or her salt will name the Contessa brand as one of the most significant game-changers in recent decades to the fast cruiser community and the wider sailing world. To this day 50 years on they remain highly sought after and not easy to come by. Even harder to find is an example in a similar condition to Nellie which has recently undergone a comprehensive refit to include many upgrades. Yanmar 1GM10 New and installed 2013 remove stripped down, serviced and reinstalled 2017, new cutlass bearing 3016, Rewired from the mast down 2016, LED Nav Lights, Sleeps 4 in cabin and saloon.
